Janet Tiitinen is an author/illustrator producing stories and artwork primarily for children. She had over twenty years experience in the classroom and working with children in holiday clubs and children’s theatre before retraining as an illustrator.

 

Author: Janet started with a four-panel cartoon in a Finnish newspaper  and a double page spread in a Finnish children’s magazine for 21 years (She wrote in English and it was translated inhouse). She has written five full length plays and her first picture book The Grapevine Cross: the story of St Nina of Georgia was published by St Shenouda Press in 2022.

Illustrator: She has, so far, illustrated 70 readers for Multilit Pty Ltd. Her latest book The Hat That Got Away (written by Carlene Jansen) and it's accompanying activity book, were published in 2025.
